Q-tip Duck Tolling Retriever

If you saw my previous post, you met Tic Tac who is Q-tip’s older brother. Now it is time to introduce the dog…q-tip_blog1

Here he is running in the park, he never stops! He is only two years old and full of energy. It is hard for him to settle down and relax in the park.. clearly impossible task.

q-tip_blog5

He looks a little mischievous, but he is really sweet even though sometimes he pretends not to hear at all..

q-tip_blog4

It was my first time in photographing a dog in Everett Crawley Park in Vancouver, it has nice trails and places where dogs can drink. There are some benches and lots of people take their dogs there.

q-tip_blog3

Q-tip looking at his”friends” walking away.. I seem to really like these kinds of shots.

q-tip_blog2

After the park adventure we went home for some cooling off..

q-tip_blog6

Q-tip is a Duck Tolling Retriever so in his nature is the love for the water..

q-tip_blog7

even if it is just coming out from the hose..

Summer is fun!

Another fun day for a dog photographer in Vancouver, who will soon call herself a pet photographer as I did love the session with Tic Tac, the older and wiser brother of Q-tip.

Tic Tac Siamese Lilac Point Cat

I am so happy to be back to my normal length regular photos sessions in Vancouver! I can take my time when working with the dogs and have fun! So you see in the title it is all about the cat…Well this post is, however I got commissioned to photograph the dog (coming up in the next post) and the cat… Well Tic Tac was just an addition to the dog’s shoot… not really. I decided to keep these two separated in my blog posts. I might have to start calling myself a Pet Photographer, since I am photographing more and more cats recently. I never really though that people would be interested in a cat photos, but I have to say I love it! It is so different from photographing the dog and I just love looking at these images…tic-tac_blog1

I have to say I have fallen in love with this cat, he is so pleasant and calming and affectionate.

tic_tac_blog2

I am mesmerized by these big blue eyes…

tic_tac_blog8

It is fascinating the more light hits the eye the deeper blue it turns. I have to say that Tic Tac was rather easy to photograph.

The camera did not bother him much and he was quite content in my company.

tic_tac_blog4

This cat so graceful and beautiful, I could spend hours photographing him..

But Tic Tac does not rest all the time, we got some play action out of him too..

What Tic Tac likes the most is cuddlig up with his mom and stretching out on the sun.

tic_tac_blog6

I never been really familiar with Siamese cats before, I think I might have had a wrong idea as to their character. All I could think of where the two Disney character cats, well Tic Tac did not show any resemblance..

Thank you Helen for introducing me to my first Siamese model, what a delight!

Our whole stay in Germany was raining like crazy, I just manged to get a few shots on the covered patio.

sunny_blog1

Sunny is quite a character, he doe not like to do what told, but surprisingly when given treats he can sit and lay down and all the other stuff..lol.

sunny_blog2

He is a beautiful dog and so friendly and cuddly! You can see some softness in his eyes even though he is pretty set in his ways. just tried to wipe his feet with a towel..
