I am still debating with myself what kind of dog I am going to have. A Golden Retreiver is one option like Lauer but still interested in Portuguese Water Dog. Yes, I love to see dogs swimming and wet.

I just LOVE this shoot – something about the classic ideas of Golden + Beach makes for the most rich photography! I super-uber duper love the foggy background – reminds me of home… Although technically I guess you’re not that far away LOVE the action shots, you’re right, they are tricky to time. And I know what you mean about sore body parts… Haha it’s amazing how everything bu the dog sort of vanishes eh?

Oh Angie these are fantastic! I feel as if I was there with you. I can practically smell the beach and touch Lauer’s wet fur. I can totally see why Lauer’s mom loves these so much. They are awesome! Great job as always. Oh, and I too once fell backwards on my bum while running backwards down a beach. Unfortunately for me it was summer and in front of a crowd of sunbathers. ha! Hope your rear heals nicely.

Thank you, as always I enjoy all the comments and I have to tell you that reaction of Hilary (Lauer’s mom) put the tears into my eyes. I do strive for perfection and put all my heart and skills into my photography and I am over the moon when I am able to exceed the clients expectation.
I hope to do it many more times over and over. Thank you all for the fantastic comments I read them and taken them to heart.

Angie, These photos of Lauer are AMAZING. As Lauer’s mum, I’m thrilled to have these photos and I love the story you tell along with the photos! I’m delighted, touched, thrilled with all the photos – I even had tears in my eyes when I came to the one with her on the log, head down (one of my favourites and I love all of them!). As a photographer myself, I know what goes into getting amazing shots like this and it’s talent, intuition, alot of hard work and passion for what you do.
