I just had tiny little fawn colored girl show up at my door this morning. We lost our pets in a fire that destroyed our home on Jan. 12, 2012. The fire started during afternoon while we were both at work. My husband discovered it after work, we live in the country and have no nearby neighbors, closest one is 1/3 of a mile at the end of our drive. Of those lost 2 were dogs, Roxie a 14 yr old Pom and Jenny a 2 yr old rat or Jack Russell terrier, both rescues. Since that day I have had mixed feeling about another “baby”,the whole in my heart is big one though. After the fire, I told people ” God and Roxie and Jenny will send us a baby when it’s the time” I guess they decided today was the day. This baby is so malnourished!!! I dont know her story as we are way out and 1/3 mile off the county road, how did she find us (we have a travel trlr to live in while building)who lost her or threw her away? I do know that she found us at the time we needed her too the most!! She will never know a mean person again, never be cold or hungry either. We love her dearly and we have known her for a bit over 2 hrs now. I sent a pic to my daughter and she told me she was a deer chihuahua, thus here we are. I’ll send pics back when she looks as pretty as I know she should. Off the our favorite vet tomorrow morning!!

We have a Deerhead as well, named Bacardi. He is white ,chocolate and fawn. He is 6 mths. old and very long with long legs and very thin long feet. We nicknamed him”Bambi” ! Love him to pieces, but he has a mind of this own!

I lost my dear head last week. He was killed by somethinf in our woods. I heard it. I am so hearbroken and depressed. He looked just like charlie except he was fawn and white. he had the most amazing personality. currious cofident friendly to everyone he met. I want another one so bad. Do you know the breaders of charlie? Could you tell me how to find a breader. I am looking everywhere. Cooper was my dogs name. Please help me fill this hole in my heart. he was 7 pounds he was a rescue.

Charlie is very cute and nice look girl, also have a Dear head girl her name is Sweetie, I adopted her last year she was in very bad health condition, even-though that I like a big dogs, we have 1 now, but I could not say no to rescuing this little girl. I love my Sweetie since I mate her. She is adorable and she stole our hearts

I have a black Deer head and her name is Chiquita. She is very compassionate, loves the kids and loves to run through the house. She was very easy to potty train, I got her when she was about 6 months and she was potty trained within a month. Great dog and looking to mate her soon.
