Demi and Gus Boston Terriers

I am a lucky girl, just a couple of weeks ago I got to photograph two fantastic French Bulldog Boston Terrier crosses on the beach in Vancouver and now I had an honor to do the same in Richmond for a couple of pure Boston Terriers! Meet Demi and Gus! Demi is black one..and Gus is the…. chubby one lol, his mom picked out the chubbiest one from the litter. I understand I used to have super fat cat..kind of like Garfield, but she only had three legs … GUS runs like the wind…it is all muscles!

Demi is about 8 years old, Gus is 2 and a half. They both love to run and swim…When they swim after the stick they retrieve it together…

IMG_1572

I was shooting through the grass and it got in the way…but I think it makes it look more interesting

IMG_1616

Gus looks like an angle here, but he is so smart , he lets Demi swim out first and get to the stick, he joins her on her way back and tries to take it away..but she is the boss, surprised?

IMG_1529

They will run around with the stick until it falls apart..

IMG_1837

After vigorous exercises we tried to get the dogs to sit for nice side by side..

Then some solo of Demi..apparently she has that sad look on her face most of the time, so it was not me… I do not torture dogs! I love them!

And here is Gus…

Well enough with this color their mom wanted some black and white stuff  …

I think she looks just like the model….

Thank you Emilie, I had a fun afternoon and I promise your album will be up soon!

I am in love with Bostons and Frenchies…I think Off Leash will get a new mascot soon..(update: I am getting a Frenchton girl!!!, she is ready to come home to me mid November!)

September 18, 2009 - 10:27 pm TERESA M.O.C. - EXCELLENT PICS ANGIE!

September 19, 2009 - 5:07 am Teresa Schultz - These are great photos. Well done! I do agree the one with the grass in it makes for a more interesting shot. I have a relatively fast internet connection and this page still took a while to open, due to the large images. I wouldn't reduce the size of the images as they look wonderful so large, but perhaps fewer posts per blog page? Regards, Teresa

September 19, 2009 - 8:22 am Angie - Thank you both for your comment. I took the advice and changed to one post per page! thx

September 19, 2009 - 9:11 pm Bladon Zaplotinsky - FANTASTIC PHOTOS!!!! Demi and Gus look adorable. I'm so proud of them!!!

September 20, 2009 - 6:19 pm oneshotbeyond - water dogs are the best! I love the ones with the owner in them...precious!

September 27, 2009 - 5:32 pm Bev - What a great beach session Angie. You are the queen of Vancouver's beaches with pet photography! These are gorgeous!

October 5, 2009 - 10:00 pm Brenda - I still love looking at these shots! Gus looking into the camera with all that sand on his face is so great (IMG_1896).
